Snow does not complain as it hits the ground,
It just keeps tumbling, tumbling down,
Into the trees, onto the gate,
It doesn’t care about its fate,
Nothing to stop its downward pace,
The snow keeps falling to the earth’s embrace.
I stare out the window at the snow so white,
Wondering why the world is suddenly quiet,
It’s waiting for me to shout and sing,
Because noise is sometimes a wonderful thing,
So if the wind carries my voice to you,
Laugh and dance, be joyful too.
