Forever in My Dreams

Forever in My Dreams

You can affect me almost at will,

By stimulating my imagination,

Synapses fire at new idea’s thrill,

Out of the common to new aberration,

Tell me that tonight we’ll abscond,

We’ll dance by a coppice of trees,

And my lustful thoughts will jump beyond,

The moments you squeeze and tease,

You can affect me, yes you can,

Talking always in circles of love,

But words alone will not stand,

When you plea to the heavens above,

My fevered mind wants you tonight,

To quench this red hot fire,

I’ll whisper words you think sound right,

But lest you think I’m a liar,

My heart springs up like a babbling brook,

I’m vulnerable, as strange as it seems,

Stirring my imagination was all it took,

And I want you forever in my dreams.

    1. How could I possibly say no to such a request? If she is in your dreams you are a lucky man. If you want her to always fill your dreams she is a lucky woman. I congratulate both of you. Dan

May the sun be on your face and the wind at your back as the Lord blesses you throughout the day. Carpe diem!

  3. Your words are beautiful! I’d love to write something like this for my fiancé. It speaks of wanting and not being able to get enough of another person, two things I, and most people in love, are very familiar with.
