All funny babies, dressed in scary costumes,
Are munching on candies they’re trying to consume.
The neighborhood dogs are down to their last barks,
And the older kids are the last to disappear into the dark.
Halloween is over, for at least another year,
unless you go searching for noises only you might hear.
There are beasts and goblins, and a few living dead,
Waiting in the shadows to take off your head.
Gruesome faces contorted into evil grins,
Pumpkin Head and Freddie are not your good friends.
Forget the parties and having some fun,
Because the dances and the tortures have just begun.
Beware the sneaky sounds of shuffling feet,
You are the feast and they’re ready to eat!
